Visitors from many countries do not
require a visa for a stay providing
their passport is valid for at least
six months from the date of entry.
Guests are advised to check with
their nearest Greek embassy or

Greece is one of the safest
countries in Europe from a medical
point of view. However, a doctor is
on call 24 hours a day at Vedema
Resort. We do not recommend that our
guests drink tab water, hence,
bottled water is readily available.
Vaccinations are not considered
necessary but visitors may wish to
consult with their doctor.
TRAVEL TIPS
Electricity is 220 volts and wall
outlets take standard, two/three-pin
European plugs. Santorini’s time
zone is on GMT+2 (winter)/+3
(summer). Summer daytime
temperatures are generally warm.
However, a jacket and sweater are
recommended for cooler evenings on
April and October.
